The Book Thief Pages 73-81

SPOILER ALEARTIf you have not started to read this book, and have stumbled across this blog, be warned, there are some spoilers in these passages. 
The Book Thief Pages 73-81
This section was a very unique section in my opinion. This section described Liesel's life at school. Everyone seems to bully Liesel except for Rudy; Rudy always stands up for her. The teacher seems to be very mean as well, and I personally did not enjoy the chapter as much as the others because the teacher gave me a very cold feeling. But besides that, the chapter was very well crafted, for example, "(By the way-I like this human idea of the grim reaper. I like the scythe. It amuses me)". I did not know that Death was still narrating this while time because he never spoke of his opinions until now. I am assuming that because of this someone else is going to die like in the very beginning, or that it was just a joke for the readers. In the beginning of the section, also, The author gives us an important fact world-wide, and an important fact story-wide(not as big). This reminds me of the section death and chocolate, when death gives us a small fact that is a big fact. And here he gives us a small fact and a big fact. I am not sure if it was purposeful or not, but it defiantly caught my attention. 
Anyways, I am really looking forward for part 2, and I hope that if you stumbled upon this, that you will want to read this as well.
